On behalf of the team, I apologize we haven’t been blogging as of late. The team has been very busy since we started working and hasn’t had much free time to reflect on the events of the past several days.
Wed (11th) was probably our busiest day yet. We continued to work on the promotional video. We got footage from many different locations around the city. We also were able to complete to the script after a dozen (or so it seemed) edits to include all of the product features that needed to be highlighted. That evening there was a lot of work on the agenda but we decided to take a much needed break for food. Our luck with food and price has been getting much better lately however every one of us is Italianed out. No more pizza or pasta! I had passed by an Indian restaurant several times throughout or travels around the Muzeum but never ventured inside. That night we did. It was a great meal and even better company.
As we headed home we laughed, joked, and took some really nice pictures of the four of us. When we arrived home, we immediately got to work. Jen started downloading footage for the 3 video cameras we used that day. The rest of us prepared to take a few clips of Hannah for the video before we started recording audio for the video. Unfortunately there was some miscommunication (we’re still learning) about what footage was needed for the video, so we’ll most likely need to take some more tomorrow. Jen was feeling tired so she decided to snooze. The rest of us were still wired on curry so we decided to continue late into the night, only stopping to wake Jen up to wish her a happy birthday and take goofy pictures of Aaron in all of his gadgetry glory. Stopped at 5am.
The following day was quite eventful. There was a lot to be accomplished before of celebration of Jen’s 25th b-day. We started the morning quite a bit later than normal to recover from our efforts the previous night. Hannah and I went to meet Mr. Deem at the Hilton to discuss our thoughts and goals for our internship over the remaining 3 weeks. Then, we were going to show him what we’ve been so busily doing the past couple days and take him to where we’ve been working so that he could meet Andreas. Jen and Aaron were headed in the opposite direction to Joe’s Café, our new free internet hot-spot, where we would meet up later in the afternoon. They were working on the presentation when Hannah and I showed up around 5. Jen and I continued to work at Joe’s (calling home, sending emails, researching flights to England, reserving hotels, etc.) while Aaron and Hannah to buy train tickets for our anticipated trip to Dresden, Germany the following day. It’s a running joke that the simplest things to do, take the longest to do in Prague. Once we regrouped it was getting late so we decided to head back to the apartment and take it from there…
